Peter Marino Revamps Dior Flagship Boutique in Paris

The house of Dior is reopening its historic flagship store at 30 Montaigne in Paris, two years after undergoing an enormous renovation and extension. The goal of the project is to provide a magnificent experience while also expanding the brand"s appeal beyond fashion. 

"The iconic land of dreams" has now expanded to include culture, art, and hospitality, covering 10,000 square meters. The neo-classical style meets modern chastity in this architectural tour-de-force directed by architect Peter Marino. The building"s fresh ambiance, which is steeped in history (it was founded by Christian Dior in 1946), welcomes tourists on a pleasant journey to a timeless experience.

The contrast between tradition and modernity is expressed via the use of a variety of materials and textures, ranging from stone to luxurious fabrics, all in an off-white hue. Dior"s flagship store offers a wide range of beauty products, such as ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewelry, and fragrances. The Dior building in Paris promotes the diversity of savoir-faire, art de Vivre, gastronomy, and culture in addition to apparel, jewelry, and accessories. In the "refuge of the amazing," as Monsieur Dior put it, luxury connoisseurs and Dior lovers can eat, dress, rest, and work out.

 

A glittering boutique, a gallery space, the restaurant Monsieur Dior and Pâtisserie Dior (both eateries filled with the innovation of French chef Jean Imbert), three gardens, and a 200-meter guest suite are now part of the renovated Dior flagship.
