Fendi Casa's New Furniture Collection Features Some Of The Biggest Names In Design
Fendi Casa has launched its latest furniture line, which was produced in partnership with a group of international designers. The collection, which was curated by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the maison's artistic director of menswear and accessories, includes contributions from top designers such as Piero Lissoni, Atelier O, Dimorestudio, Marcel Wanders Studio, Cristina Celestino, and Chiara Andreatti.
New items are included in the launch, as well as old designs from the brand's more experimental ventures. They provide an eclectic image of the company's aesthetics and creative ideals when viewed as a whole.
In this collection, the sofa holds a unique place. From large-scale modular sofas to the more compact settee, a number of innovative designs offer varying interpretations of the medium, ideal for different living styles. Atelier O's "Fun" modular sofa is one of them, a favorite of Venturini Fendi for its ability to reflect the maison's handcrafted essence. It has a striking, gridded design that incorporates many parts to create a seating environment, and it's distinguished by nubuck upholstery with a peekaboo effect on the corners that makes it appear as if the padding is peeking out.
There are also elegant dining tables, chairs, armchairs, and bedroom furniture, as well as Piero Lissoni's outdoor pieces with bamboo framework and hemp upholstery.
The collection was recently photographed to commemorate its premiere at the estate of Catalan sculptor Xavier Corberó, whose concrete arches serve as a backdrop for the collection's rich textures.
