5 Celebrity Living Rooms You Need To See

When it comes to celebrity homes, we are constantly captivated. The truth is that they create the most magnificent spaces with the trendiest furniture and lighting designs because they have access to the most skilled interior designers. The living room, however, is the room that attracts the most attention. As a result, we're going to show you our top five celebrity living room ideas today.

Chlöe Bailey

Truth be told, Chlöe Bailey isn’t often at home. The singer-songwriter and actress, now known mononymously as Chlöe, operates on a very tight schedule. However, when those long days are over, there’s a Los Angeles sanctuary Chlöe designed, working with West Elm, in which she can find respite from the demands of her very busy life. As for her apartment’s aesthetic, Chlöe’s vision was simple: a zen space that felt “elegant, chic, and elevated,” while simultaneously radiating “boss bitch” energy. It’s a reflection of all the qualities that she embodies: confidence, ambition, and warmheartedness.

Kacey Musgraves

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter crafted her Nashville home for a new beginning with the help of interior designer Lindsay Rhodes. Although much of the house has been painted white or off-white, the sunset colors that remain were chosen for special, personal reasons.

Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli

Dubbed “The Great Room,” this sitting area occupies the same space as the kitchen and breakfast nook. Although the house had been renovated by the sellers, Stefani Stein (the interior designer selected by the couple to help with the renovation) added flair with details such as the fireplace’s honeycomb patterned metallic tile. To match it, she picked a marble coffee table.

Shonda Rhimes

As the driving force behind television hits like Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder, and, most recently, Bridgerton and Inventing Anna. Rhimes has dreamed up dozens of dynamic, diverse, and multidimensional female characters, shifting the narratives of women and their place in the world. Rhimes enlisted AD100 designer, Michael S. Smith, to help realize a vision of classical beauty with touches of romance and lots of colorful flights of fancy.

Vanessa Hudgens

After purchasing the home in 2018, Hudgens hired the interior designer Jake Arnold to remodel the primary suite. She took on the task of renovating the kitchen herself during the pandemic. Hudgens thought she knew what she wanted to do with the living room. “I originally had the idea of it being very white and monochromatic,” she says, “and I ordered a massive, white linen sofa from RH.” It arrived. It didn’t work. “I popped over to a vintage store and found this pink mohair sofa that I fell in love with.” New plan: “‘Okay, we’re going for soft femme colors.’ I wanted the house to be super feminine, to celebrate women’s bodies, to be a kind of femme palace. The sofa plays into that.”
